How does it work?

The Wild Work Farm Market Share is an easy way for you to buy produce from us, support us early in the season, and save money on your local vegetables and fruit!

The market share is a flexible way to support a farm early in the season. You pay money up front and we give you a declining balance card with a bonus for your upfront commitment. This card is a physical card, like a gift card, but it can be used virtually as well to place orders online and pick them up at various locations throughout the week. You fill your card with $$$ now and then spend it down over the year on whatever you want, whenever you want. Here is where you can use your market share card in 2026:

  1. At the Keene Farmers’ Market (Sundays 9:30-2, end of May-October)

  2. By ordering online with us April-December! Pre-order pickups are Tuesday @ Green Goddess in Lake Placid (2:30-4:30 pm), Wednesday @ Sugar House Creamery (3-5 pm), Thursday @ Wild Work Farm in Keene Valley (4-6 pm). Winter pickups (October-December and April-May) are at Snowy Grocery on Saturdays from 10-12 pm and at the Keene Farmers’ Market at Keene Arts on Sundays from 10-2 pm.

The share sizes are $300, $500, $700, and $1000. We also offer a mini-share ($150), intended for those who don’t eat much produce or are seasonal. The size of your share should be your best guess of how much you will spend on veggies with us during the year. For example, a $500 share would give you $565 worth of spending (for the early-bird share), allowing you to spend $28.25/week for 20 weeks on produce. Think about how much you spend every week on veggies and know that the market season is generally 20 weeks, not including the markets we offer before June or after October. If you spend your share quicker than expected, you can always add to it, and if you don’t spend it all, it will roll over to the next year.

For market share payments between January 1 through the end of March, you will get a 13% bonus on your market share. From April 1 through the end of May, you will receive a 8% bonus on your share. Any payments made after May 31 get a 3% bonus on the share amount. This card is good for two years from January of the year you purchase it, and you can refill it any time if you run out of money.  The main market share season for 2026 will start at the end of May when the farmers' markets start, but we will update members with produce availability before then. We usually begin greens sales for market share members at the end of March. Please contact us for sliding-scale share options or if you need to arrange a payment plan! We have subsidized shares available.

Why buy a WW market share?

Winter and spring consume a lot of financial resources on a farm, and buying a market share helps us get off the ground and launches us into the season.  Not only does a market share get us excited to get growing, it also offers you savings on produce and guarantees you lots of delicious, fresh vegetables throughout the year.  As a member, you'll also get a WWF tote bag and access to our pick-your-own herb and flower garden during on-farm pickup days.  

We know that it can be hard for one farm to have everything you want all the time. The WWF market share allows you to share your produce dollars with other farms by offering varying degrees of commitment, and a non-traditional CSA model.  You can check our what we grow page to see what we are planning for 2026. We try to grow a variety of crops that contribute to the environmental and economic sustainability of our farm. That means that there will always be many that you know and love, and some that may be new to you! With this model, you get to choose what you buy at every market.

If you are an existing member, fill out the form below to sign up for 2026. You do not have to pay right away! If you are interested in joining our market share, you’ll be added to the wait list and I’ll email you when I open the share to new mebers. Even without a share, you can always shop with us online or at the Keene Farmers’ Market and find our produce at your local grocery.
